Thumbs up A big thanks to the Brazilian communities

We contacted the communities earlier this week to put them on alert following the theft of my bike in Imbituba, Brazil. My email spread around Brazil and within few hours all the motorcycle clubs in Brazil had been warned and were on alert and on the look out for my bike. I received emails of support from as far as Ciudad del Este (Paraguay), where the local club was watching the border! I received many emails of support and offers of help from all around Brazil. The response was amazing and it did cheer us up when we were feeling very depressed and losing hope of ever finding the bike.
As you all know the bike has been found and the thief arrested!

So, a big thanks to everyone who helped and got in touch, the HUBB communities were absolutely brilliant to spread the word and offer so much help! The system works really well.

I am blown away. Here I am looking for a job and I start the day with some good news.

That's great and best of luck for a relatively uneventful rest of Brasil!

You got very unlucky... and then incredibly lucky. How awesome.

Be sure to thank the police who apprehended the culprit, a few bottles of cachaca probably wouldn't go amiss. Have one yourself, once you change garages!

Great news

Maria....We were depressed right along with you. Now we are celebrating. Great to hear your bike was found and justice served. We postulated with great intention the finding of your bike.

This gives me an idea. If anyone else loses a bike, maybe we can create a certain time on a certain day, that all those of the Hubb postulate that the bike be found. We can create reality. Together, we are superior to the mechanics of the physical universe. Maybe some of those of the Hubb are remote viewers, this might help too.

So happy for you. The Buenos Aires community is celebrating tonight...

Well it was a bad experience, but on the bright side it gave me the opportunity to discover the true spirit of brazilians and I met amazing people as a result of that theft. So I have no regret! Although, it cost me a lot in the end (repairs, replace stolen camping gear etc...)! But that is part of adventure motorcycling right?
I will go back to Brazil one day, no doubt, a fantastic country. Hope no one is put off by this misadventure!
