200cc Chilean bike for sale in Peru/Northern Chile

1 Attachment(s)
After travelling from Santiago de Chile up through Chile, Argentina and over 3 months eating dirt in Bolivia, I´m wanting to sell my trusty 2008 Euromot GXT200. I´ve decided to ride 2 up from here on, and while I am close to Chile I would like to sell the bike.

It is a good sturdy bike that is equipped for travel (panniers, tools) and I have all legal papers. The bike is in Arequipa Peru. to sell it I would like to transfer ownership in Chile.

Current mileage is about 36000kms. It has panniers with 2 hard cases, full set of tools, some spare parts. It´s not brand new, it has seen lots of road, but it is good lil bike that will yet you where you want. Since April, apart from normal maintenance like oil changes, I´ve only changed front fork seals, and put a new front and back sprocket and chain on (520). There´s been no puctures either. At altitude I´ve just opened up teh air box and covered with a stocking and it´s got me through.

I purchased it in April, and then had the panniers built (about $150) and have since bought some extra parts. I bought the bike as a novice rider, and considering I´m a not too tall girl with relatively short legs, it´s been the perfect bike (light and ready to tackle rougher terrain) for me.

I´m happy to sell it as a complete travelling bike (panniers, tools etc) for $1500, but want to transfer ownership in Chile so would need to travel to the North of Chile together with the buyer.

I´ve been blogging at chasing serendipity which has lots of travel stories and links to pics of the bike as well.

Here´s the bike though after a nice clean wash! (i got errors when pasting it in the thread)

If anyone is interested, please post questions or contact me directly. I am in Cusco currently, the bike is in Arequipa which i can return to if needed.

Ciao!
Susan

Same Bike

I am in Haiti, and I just purchased the same bike, although mine is called a Sudika (an attempt at Suzuki, I assume!). Susan, the chain is either a 428 (like mine) or a 520... no other choices.

Enjoy Cuzco. Been there 9 times as I have have spent most of my life in Peru... always on a motorcycle.

Cheers! Toby:mchappy::mchappy::mchappy:

Thanks Toby... yes I changed from 428 to 520..(I couldn´t find the right pinon in Bolivia for 428) that was a typo on my part! have amended my post:)

Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't read the date on the first post. After 6 years she will be getting a bit desperate for a buyer
