2003 KLR 650 - For Sale - Argentina/Chile/Anywhere close

For sale is my beloved 2003 KLR 650.

It is low mileage (14,000 as of Medellin) for a bike like this. It´s very clean and lots of extras. It was fully serviced in Medellin yesterday and is running like a dream. Throughout Central America the bike has not missed a beat and has been well cared for throughout.

I'm currently in Colombia and will be looking to sell the bike in approximately 4-6 weeks, preferably in Buenos Aires, however almost anywhere in South America will suit me. I have the original paperwork with me and can assist with getting the bike registered in your name.

The bike is perfect for someone looking to start their own overland adventure.

Price $3,500

- Kawasaki KLR 650 2003
- 14,000 miles
- California registration until 01/2012

- Dohicky fix
- AirHawk 2 seat pad (a lifesaver for the behind!)
- EBC oversize front brake rotor/disk
- Galfer SS braided front brake line
- Happy Trails Center Stand
- Pannier Guard / with foot pegs & Skid plate
- Hepco-Becker Journey man Saddle Bags
- SW-MOTECH Quick-Lock Sidecarrier

Question about your bike

Were you able to sell your bike in Medellin? I have a similar Kawasaki 650, 2006 for sale and was wondering if in fact you were able to sell yours do you have any tips for me?

Thanks,

David

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
