"Zerzura Club"
I am pleased to annunce the "rebirth" of the glorious "Zerzura Club", originally founded at the Greek Bar of Wadi Halfa in November 1930; and now refounded at Segrate (Milano), Italy on the 6th November 2004.
The aim of the club is always the same: to find the "Atlantis of the Sands"! Any person interessed to this initiative, please contact me at: pyr@fastwebnet.it We are waiting for new members to the "Elusive Oasis"!!! Two things cross my mind
a) Dont you think this is a little presumptuous? b) What if we cant read Italian? |

hi jamie t ,
wish you the all the best for your trip, let us know about it ,its realy cool to do it on bikes ,i could join if i knew ,maalesh next time take care |
6 x 2200 km off road = 1 clutch cable. These Adventures are pretty indestructable. Fantastic trip a long way from any civiliation. The Gilf and the Great Sand Sea are well worth the logistics.

Heh Runner,
Have used the one in Maadi, sometimes good, sometimes slightly less than perfect. A couple of the guys know KTM's inside out and generally we sorted the bikes all together, under their instruction. Still quite surprised to manage that terrain, including some very rocky bits, with no dramas and not even a puncture. JT |
Hi jamieT,
congratulations for yours exploit! Where you went? Some rock art??? The soldier is still mandatory? [This message has been edited by pyr (edited 19 January 2005).] |
