Where can I store a bike in Morocco?

I need to put my motorcycle into storage for a few months in Morocco. I need to able to travel back to Morocco with my car a few times, without customs giving me a hard time at the ferry port about my bike being left in Morocco and me leaving and coming without it.
I heard of customs lots where you can pay to park your car with customs when you need to leave the country. Do these exist, and how expensive are they?
Are there any affordable (1 euro a day) places that are really safe, and preferably company run or government run (instead of the shady garages in Casablanca)?

Thanks.

You won't find facilities like that at the tourist land borders but there will be bonded warehouses and the like at airports and seaports.

I had a problem when my car wasn't processed out of the country in 1984. The next year I was stopped as I attempted to fly out of the country. I had to do a round robin of the customs officers in the airport, then the sea port to get things sorted.

To his credit, the British Airways pilot kept the whole plane full of passengers on the runway to bring pressure to bear on the Moroccans to sort it quickly. Got a cheer when I finally boarded the plane.

I didnt know they were so efficient. Now they have computers to keep tabs even better, I'll have to keep your experience in mind if say, I get a speeding fine or something and forget to pay.

Thanks for sharing that one.

Hi Monkii, i'm resident in El-Jadida, south of Casablanca, and could offer you a secure terrace for a bike for the price of a few beers. It's easy access to Casa by train for going backwards and forwards.

I was at 'Garage Iriki' in Zagora last Jan, and they were storing a Swiss Quad - don't know how much they would charge but they seemed like nice people and had a spotless, well-equipped workshop.

They are to the South West of the main road in Zagora - somewhere I have a card with phone & GPS but I'd have to dig through the year's accumulation of crap in the Landy centre storage box to find it... horrible thought...
