where is the best place to see the western sahara sand berm?
 

I would like to see the sand berm in Western Sahara. Is near Smara the closest place to see it? Or somewhere else? How will I know it when I see it? Just want a view from a highway or something if possible.

I dont think the Berm is classified as a tourist attraction like the Great Wall of China - quite the opposite in fact. That, I believe, is the point.

How will I know it when I see it?
Look out for watch towers, warning signs for land mines and military activity; all good signs that you're in the right area.
