Wanted: Experienced Mauritania off road guide
 

I am planning a trip for two weeks of camping in very remote parts of central Mauritania, as part of a geologic field trip with 6 professional geologists. If you have experience planning travel (e.g. procuring vehicles) and working and living in isolated parts of the Sahara, particularly in Mauritania, and are interested, please contact me. If the trip receives funding (it is in the proposal stage) your travel to Mauritania would be paid for, and there would be reasonable additional compensation. The trip would take place around December 2009.

If you could refer me to somebody or to some organization, I would also be very grateful.
