Wadi Halfa ferry costs go up...
The ferry from Wadi Halfa to Aswan or visa versa has recently gone up from $50 to $100. Its a rip off, but for now the only way in (or out).
Im told that a new ferry will be operating from Abu Simbel to Wadi Halfa early next year, this cuts about 220km off the trip, so in a reasonable world it would be chaeper... but this is Egypt/Sudan -so who knows.
