visum mali
Hello,
what is the best place to get a Mali-visum when you come overland from Europe?We were planning to buy it in advance in Brussels but it's only valable for one month so that will be to short for us. Thank you for your advices.

Mali visa is easily available in Rabat, Morocco.
I dropped off in the afternoon and collected the next day. The Mali embassy is about 200 metres down the road from the Mauritanian embassy in Rabat, so it is a good place to get both visas. I dont have my GPS handy, but the points for the RIM embassy have been posted here before. cheers

Visas
U can get both visas at the borders. The Mali visa also in Nouakchott within 2-3 hours. Both cheaper than in Europe.

Getting the visa in advance gives you more flexibility on where to cross the border. Last year, we got the visa in Nouakchott (took about an hour, we waited in the office) and then crossed Kiffa-Kayes, a very nice route which has no border post.
