Ethiopian visa in Khartoum takes one day if you still need it!

Nile road is not a pleasant driving. But no escort or convoys needed any longer!

Mohammed Abouda is a crook, as written in another thread! If you still want to use him make sure he does not charge more than the following:

Car ticket: 2,012 LE
Passenger ticket: 283 LE (plus 40 LE departure tax, cabin is extra)
Traffic court: 5 LE (he charged others 25 LE!)
"Tasrih" (permit to enter port area): 10 LE for each entry
Exit stamp (before passport control): 2 LE
another exit fee (last booth before entering ship): 4 LE
no bribes please for customs officer checking car upon entering port!! (he took 20 LE from others for this - not necessary and not good!!)

His services should be 30 US-Dollars and the little tips for customs officer and the port workers should not exceed 100 LE (he extorts 300 LE from clients!!!)
