Van and Motorbike to Morocco
 

I'm planning to take an Xr400 to Morocco in the back of a van later this year; both are UK registered. Has anyone experience of doing this and if so what will it cost to insure the van on arrival at either Ceuta or Tangier. Is there a maximum amount of time a van is allowed to stay in the country as I've heard it's only 3 months in any one year as opposed to 6 months for a car?

The details of both vehicles are entered on the same green temporary importation form to stop you leaving the country with just one of them. I don't know the insurance rates for a van as I had organised green card cover in advance. Yes, in theory the van is limited to three months, but if it is clearly being used for tourism/leisure then I imagine the customs will let you have longer.
