Bike tyre delivery to Morocco

I am looking for a bike shop or similar spot either in the southern reaches of spain or in morocco to post on ( or ask to have ready for me ) a set of MT21's in the next few months. I hope this will save me having to carry them from the uk. Any ideas?

Many Thanks,

Dave Lomax

I am planning on buying some tyres in Southern Spain. Anyone recommend a good shop somewhere between Bilbao and Algeciras.

Pices have gotta be better than in London, no? or yes?

Thanks
Toby

We did that (from Switzerland) and made one mistake: We didn't order the tyres before we left. There are a lot of tyre shops all over in south Spain but they usaly have scooter and road bike tyres on stock. But it's no problem if you order in advance. We had to wait 1 1/2 days for them.

We changed ours in a shop in Gibraltor, very nice people and a very nice place to visit though. Can post contact info if interested (the advantage of Gibraltor is that they're speaking English...). Paid apox. 90£ british for my knobly Pireli set (can't remember exact type) and aprox 200£ for mates M66 set.

There is also a KTM shop in Ceuta (Spain on the other site of the wather). Don't know wheter they have tyres, no English. No tyres in Morocco at all, no one exept the police is riding bikes.

Have a good trip, Morocco is incredible! Stay in the "Lac du Saha" when you're in Merzouga. Travel light!

The man who runs the branch of "Moto Mercado" in Marbella is absolutely fantastic. I know he runs a whole fleet of Transalps, running both on and off-road rubber. He can also order tyres for you, deliver anywhere on that coast, and speaks excellent English.

All round top bloke.

Try:

or:

I'm getting my tyres from him on my way to Cueta...

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
