Travelling in the north
 

Hello travelers!

In a few weeks time I will be in Algeria on my way to SA. The route is Algeria-Niger-Chad-Sudan-Ethiopia.....

I guess that USA, with support from NATO, will make some kind of military action to the Islamic world to revenge the tragedy in NY.

Does anybody have any comments on how a military operation like this can affect the possibilities to travel in North Africa?

What's going to happen in a few weeks is anybody's guess. Those already travelling in N Africa are best placed to inform us via this forum about the latest developments.

There are also other forums carrying up-to-date information. If someone has a list of them, it'd be handy.

Some Canadian travellers in Morocco have had rocks and abuse hurled at them. When they tried to explain that they were Canadians, not Americans, it made no difference. Don't know where this happened.
