Timbuktu web site
I would like to advise of a new web site that's currently being developed by myself at www.timbuktu.org.uk (a planned French version will be at www.tombouctou.org.uk)
The site will eventually be a resource on the history, culture etc of the city. To this end I'm travelling to Timbuktu in February 2005 to complete a photographic survey and hope to publish the pictures on site.

What are your trip plans? Are you making your own way there or flying in or near to?
It is one of those places that I have always hankered to visit ( I even thought of the 52 days by camel!! when I saw the sign in Merzouga!!). Looking forward to the site opeining up more. best of luck with your plans Paul
