Tidjikja-Sangrafa - piste or tarmac?
 

Is the track between Tidjikja and Sangrafa sealed? If not, how much time does it take?

Hi,

Last November the road was paved from Tidjikja-Moudjéria-Letfatar.
Thus, only between Letfatar and Sangarafa remains unpaved.

as of last week the road Sangrafa-Tidjikja was paved as mentioned in the previous message. there's about 45 km of sandy piste right after Sangrafa - it is being paved though, and might be finished by the time you get there. i was hitch-hiking there and was picked up by a Brazilian engineer whose company is building it:-) it took us about 2.5 or 3 hours from Tidjikja to Sangrafa.
