summer overland trip
 

Though not the best time, is anyone planning an overland trip starting in July....hoping on going Morocco-Maur-Senegal-Mali-Burkina Faso(visiting a friend)-Ghana-Togo-Benin. I know it's way in advance, but give me a shout if you thinking similar things...

Thinking of doing the same route ( well almost same )in April.I will start from Tunusia and starting from Morocco ,will follow the same order as you.So ,if you or i change plans about the starting date lets meet.Or would you think of April ?.

Have started planning a similar trip: 2 landrovers 4 of us, morocco, maurit, mali. in July-Oct. Have been discouraged by comments that it is just too damn hot to do it then! Would consider revising route to make a convoy with you :-)
Have not done this before and am wondering how long you think your journey will take?

we are planing the same route ultil Dakar in summer of 2003. we can meet somewere in the way. he are goimg to traver in land rover series leaving from Portugal
