Sudanese visa applications in Egypt - a question
I know the subject is discussed often(ish) but since these things change and live, I consult you in the following as of early 2013: I'm planning to cross from Egypt to Sudan at some point in Feb-Mar window. I don't have a vehicle, will be using buses and the ferry.
I'm a citizen of Finland and I already emailed my embassy in Cairo whether they could provide me with the letter of introduction in case they ask for it at the Sudanese embassy. The embassy said they can write/produce me the letter which is helpful enough.
So how is it nowadays, do you think I could obtain the Sudanese visa this way in Cairo or Aswan? I surely hope they don't require anything like "letter of invitation", which is exactly why I wish to apply on the spot, and not overseas.
Thanks for advice.
