Seeking Fellow Travellers: Algeria, Mali, Niger
Me and my girl friend would like to overland through part or all of Algeria, Mali, and Niger and are looking for people to travel with. We are both experienced travellers, but have never overlanded before. I am just beginning to research this, and suspect that it makes most sense for us to try to do this trip with people that have at least some experience. We are both Yanks, so I think we need to find somebody with a vehicle. We can certainly pay our share, and would be happy to help in any way before the trip in terms of planning or other tasks, as well as on the road in terms of navigating, cooking, et cetera. We have a full six weeks and could do a trip pretty much any time, though it looks like the weather is best later in the year.
If this is of interest, please let me know. Also, any advice is appreciated. Thanks! |

hi
I also want to get algeria in summer this year. Well in fact this is the worst time to go there but I don't have another choice. So what is your plan of trip - the route? From Algeria to Mali seems not to be a good idea. From Mali to Niger is fine. How do you enter algeria anyway. My recent plan is to fly directly do Tam and hire a car for some time. Soon I will know & write some more details. Bart |
