'Paris-Dakar' pistes in Morocco
 

Has anyone driven the so called Paris-Dakar pistes in the Moroccan south, in particular the stage from the western end of Iriqui to Tata (route GT3 in the Gandini book if you know it). Is it worth the effort bearing in mind the military checkpoint hassle??

sorry we did not drive this - - but I want to ask about Gandini excuse - - did you may did type some Tracks for use as track / pcx5 / ... Or anyone else? We did this for Band 1 (Atlas) - a few hours work - but worth - perhaps anyone did these for another Band so ist is not necessary to make this work again? (Are Gandini Books availble in English? )

If I understand you correctly you are asking me if I have made up routes of this track for anyone else - no, I have not.

I don't think Gandini books are available in English - only French, see www.extrem-sud.com.

In the book (Tome 2 on the website) are all the necessary waypoints for many routes in Morocco.

excuse for bad english - ok in french we have tome 1 (Atlas) but my french is more worse then my english - but with all points on ttqv/Pathaway its great -

hello out there,

the "paris-dakar"-track west of iriqui is well worth riding! it's very lonely and i saw "gazelles" (same word in english?)there - nowhere else in morocco.
the problem is a well-positioned checkpoint about halfway to tata: very difficult to avoid it! but even until that point: a great ride, which can be finished at tissint.
