Original IGN maps of Sahara
I've been contacted by a non-internet guy who wants to sell his old collection of Sahara maps:
He has 20+ original colour IGN 1:200,000s of Niger (Air, Tenere, Djado, not full coverage). Some folded, some rolled/unused. These maps are long unobtainable outside of Niger - and even there it's tricky. In case you don't know the best IGN 200ks are works of art (though some covering the Tenere are entirely blank! - an unusual map in itself...). A bit OTT for regular pisting but handy for rocky passes and canyons. One 200k is one a square degree - just over 100 km2. He also has a few half mil IGNs of Niger and some WWII era IGNs and US maps I'll be back in a few days with a full list and prices - from £12 each with a deal for the whole lot.
