Nuadibou - Atar - Tijikcha - Nema - Timbuctou
 

Hi all,

in 2007 I was part of 2 cars group who tried to get to Nema this way. In Tijikcha we filled mega expensive fuel what blocked our fuel pumps, and had to go via Southern tarmacked road.
Now my parents in their 50ies are looking for company to cover this road in November. They are travelling with their 1994 diesel automatic Discovery.

Anyone?

Amazing coincidence.

We (3 bikes) are looking for 4x4 support for that exact route. Our original support pulled out and we need someone to carry fuel and water plus backup if we have a spill. We're leaving the UK in 11th Nov and will hopefully be at the Mauri border by end of Nov/beginning Dec.

We'd be more than happy to contribute to the costs.

If your parents don't mind 3 middle aged bikers accompanying them then it could be the answer to our prayers.

Hi,

we (2 cars) depart from Poland to Mali in mid October. In Mori we would like to do Nuadibou - Atar - Tijikcha. At first we wanted to go to Nema and Timbuctou but we heard that nowadays these are not the safest places on the planet...

What do you think? Anybody?

We will make this trip a few weeks later with a Pajero. Around 6-14 december.We will be on our way to Mali, but will enter Mali at Nioro. Looking for company for the part Noadibou-Atar-Tidjikja.Did the same trip 5 years ago, but missed Tidjikja.

We are two bikers (two Transalps) and we will leave Paris on the 18-10 and plan to be and morocco-mauritania border at 23-10. We would be interested to travel the Nuadibou - Atar - Tijikcha route with more company.
