Nouadhibou - Nouakchott fuel update
 

Hi,


Here's the location of the 3 fuel stations along the road between NDB and NKT:

N 21 16.597 W -16 31.695
N 20 3.09 W -15 55.274
N 20 48.692 W -16 7.236

The first one only had diesel a couple of days ago.
The one in the middle is from Total and includes restaurant; the typical fuel station that you can find in the Western Sahara road.

Fuel stops
 

Brilliant news, particularly on the refreshments front. I'll be on this road in three weeks time and given how long, lonely and a bit boring that road can get, the thought of a bit of a rest and a cold drink en route is appealing.

Mad Gas Stations ...
 

Oh, I should have added that the most northerly of these stations has been there for a while. They only sold diesel when I was there in 05. The family who were running it then were friendly if a little crazy; they tried to sell me their baby.
