Niger Visa

One last Question. Has anyone managed to get a visa for Niger in either Ghana, Mali, B.Faso or elsewhere in W.Africa? I believe that they are available in Rabat, but I was hoping to get them in Bamako or Ougadougou.

We got ours last year in Ghana. It was done whilst we waited within an hour. They were quite helpful although seemed surprised as though it doesn't normally happen.

As of Jan. 2002, there was no Niger representation in Bamako, and as far I am aware, Niger visas cannot be obtained in Mali. (I agree it would be great if you could -it would have saved me a great deal of hassle in the past, -but that is Africa.)

Hi Bo

Any feedback about getting your Niger visa in Morocco? If possible, how long did it take, and how much did it cost?

Regards,

Michael...

You can get the Niger visa in Mali at the Burkinabe (Burkina Faso) embassy in Bamako. They issue a visa that will cover you for Niger, Burkina, Cote d'Ivoire, Togo and Benin. It is issued on the same day officially if you come in the morning they distribute in the afternoon but we arrived at 15.00hrs and walked out at 16.00hrs with the visa.

Hope this helps
