Morrocco in May/June

The questions is:

Is it too hot. My brother and me would like to take a week or two on bikes, in May/June is Morrocco too to to enjoy and would you suggest somewhere else. I'd prefer January but have work commitments.

Hi,

No, it is not. In the south temperatures will be high but not extreme.

We were ther in late May 2005 for 2 weeks. It was quite hot in the desert areas (M6 route, Merzouga etc) but not unbearable. I was wearing a black belstaff touring jacket & suffered from the heat a bit, I should have taken a lighter enduro style jacket.

Went 2 last weeks of May last year.
Temp was perfect for riding, even off road.

From Tanger - Azrou - Midelt - Imilchil - Boulmane - Ouarzazate :
Temp was ideal. never cold even at high alt.

Marrakesh was another story.
From the pass between Ouarzazate and Marrakesh, the temp rised quite a lot.

And about January, expect some chillness, even snow on Atlas routes.
