Morocco - West Africa?
 

I am planning a trip from Morocco to West Africa via Mauritania.

I will be hitch hiking and taking public transport.

Please could someone tell me how quickly I could do Morocco - Senegal in? How easy is it to hitch across the sahara? How safe (or dangerous?!) is the Morocco - Mauritania crossing?
