Morocco last August : M13 and M11

Hi,

We're just back from a trip Dakar - Marrakech - Dakar in a Toyota Landcruiser 105. 6.800 kms and 500 pictures later we're back home.
Did M13 of the Sahara Overland book, but in the opposite direction : Smara - Assa. Very nice trip, no difficult driving, but very solitary : we didn't meet another vehicle. Got slightly lost somewhere in the middle when we had to cross a oued a bit more to the right then according to the route - and found it difficult to re-locate the main track, but this only lasted an hour. Met some Polisario rebels on the way who were not too happy to see us but all in all very impressive scenery.
M11, from Ait Herbil to Taroudant, also very nice, although there is no need to have the GPS waypoints : the road is clear enough. Had a lot of rain there but that was also a nice experience.

p.458 Morocco, Route M13. I'm told the waypoint for KM322 is wrong and I suspect it should be N27 04.0'

Over the next year I will be re-doing all the Mk routes and adding a whole lot more.
