Morocco Insurance

Hi All
How much can I expect to pay for insurance for two weeks at the port in Tanger for a Land Rover Discovery Tdi. My insurance company wants £69 for a green card which sounds a bit expensive for just two weeks.
Cheers

As Cruzeta says, Assurance au Frontieres is a set national rate at all ports and urban insurance offices that sell it. A month is the minimum they offer.

10 day insurance

In January this year I bought a 10 day insurance from the insurance office immediately after customs and immigration at Tangier. The cost was dh574.04 for a bike. I notice, looking at the receipt, that dh114.00 was for 'defense et recours'. Is that 'recovery backup' in English? I don't recall being saluted by any Moroccan AA patrol men. john

10 days it is!

Actually I did faintly recall a 10-day tariff but did not note it down. Thanks for the reminder.

I travel to Morocco with a Citroen Picasso and my Spanish insurance company (AXA) arrange 2 weeks cover at no extra charge. Check out different companies, you may wish to change.
