Morocco in 15 days?

Hello all.
I will be leaving the uk on the 16th of dec for Morocco! I have only 15 days before having to meet some friends in M'kesh for new year. I plan to get down through europe as fast as my Disco will allow me. Now the question? Will it be possible to get out to figuig, come back and down to erg chebbi, across to M'mid, and then maybe up to M'kesh? I do not want to rush this part as obviously this is the reason for the trip.
P.S. Would love to hear of people in the area to meet up with too?
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I just did a route from Agadir, through Ouarzazate ( 1 night ) to Merzouga ( 2 nights, one on roof of house, one in desert with the camels - I recommend Auberge de l'Oasis ), back via Ait Benhadou ( 1 night - v quiet, but cheap and a change from staying in Ouarzazate again )to Marrakech ( 2 nights )and then to Essaouira (1 night) before going back to Agadir. So it can be done. Most of the roads are good and fast, but the mountain sections ( esp from Ouarzazate to Marrakech ) will slow you down a lot because of the views and the endless hairpins. 2 nights in Merzouga is unnecessary but we got there too late to go out in to the desert on the first night. The coast road between Essaouira and Agadir was great. There were frequent police road blocks all over Morocco, but they tend to wave you through if they can see you are a tourist. They were polite and helpful if you can manage some basic french - I got one fixed penalty fine but it was all properly documented and it was about £7 - and I was guilty.... Watch your speed in villages, but no issues at all on the open roads. Ignore helpful young men and stick to your plan - complete pain in the neck...... !

The roads north and west of Figuig are generally in good condition. There were many checkpoints, but I suspect, as mentioned above, that a tourist vehicle will get through much much faster than a bus. Stay at the Figuig Hotel. Clean rooms, western bathrooms, oasis of tranquility, all for around 100dh.
