Did you follow up the suggestion I made on your thread on ThornTree--of asking the ferry company?

Alternatively, why not cross from Málage to Nador which means you arrive directly in Morocco rather than in the Spanish enclave.

hello tim, i have emailed acciona-transmed in english and will await their reply. i unfortunately do not speak spanish to be able to check over the phone.

acciona do not actually run a route between malaga and nador; there is one between almeria and nador but it costs 16E more than the route to melilla. why would i pay that?:) in any case i want to depart from malaga.

if you know of any other ferry companies running from malaga please let me know.
