Mauritania visas in Paris
Hi all,
What's the current situation with Mauritania visas in Paris? Is a while-you-wait visa possible, either officially or for cash? Or would an overnight wait be necessary? I have a last-minute visa problem (and a tight schedule) and would really prefer to solve this visa problem whilst I'm passing through Paris (am starting a journey from the UK) rather than messing about with a detour to Rabat. Is the Mauritanian consulate in France picky about which visa application form is used? I've seen a couple of different versions online; it's tempting to complete forms in advance just to make life easier. The different forms all look a bit amateurish but they have similar fields &c... |
I just picked my visa at the consulate in Paris. Around 60 Euros for a 1 month, 1 entry visa. They take applications monday thru thursdays before noon. It takes 3 business days for processing. They asked me for some sort of document that explained what I was doing in Paris (Something from my job would do it, they said.) Not sure if they ask that from everyone or just from non-French nationals (my case.)

I just read the thread Mauritania Visas In Brussels? It looks like UK passport holders may have to go to Brussels.
