In two or three months I will make a long trip throug Mauritania. I would thank information about paviment roads of Mauritania (like Nouakchott-Aleg): towns of starting and finish and some intermediate. And situation of petrol stations.

We drove Nouadhibou - Nouakchott this april with a normal (small) Renault 5 in three days. It´s hard, but every car can do it.(thats my opinion). road to atar from nouakchott is tar, atar to choum is (in parts) very sandy, too. all together with a good will, driving in mauritania isn´t very bad and we did´t have any troubles in the country .

I need to know just because I want to avoid asphalt. I will go with a 4x4.
