Hi Monserrat!, International Travel Maps (ITM). Mauritania. Scale 1:2.000.000. You can buy it in "La tienda verde" Madrid www.tiendaverde.org also on-line.
It´s the best we have found to travel to Mauritania, the price is 12,15 €.
Un saludo, Raquel

You know you can always buy paper 200ks direct from IGN in Paris. The address is bottom of:
http://www.sahara-overland.com/maps - you want the Cartoteque. 8-13 euros.
These are mono copies - I just realised I have the 4 maps you're after in mono. Tip: save your money on Ouadane NG-29-1; it is a whole lot of nothing with Od right on the top edge.
It is very hard to obtain colour originals these days - except on the CD of course. I find the colours (usually off CD) easier to use - and just print off what I need.

Maps have now been received from Daerr in Germany. They are in colour.

Yes, the Ouadene map does not have much detail.
It is virtually all yellow with just a track marked in the top left hand corner. Quite amusing and good to show to people who are already sceptical about the trip.
