Massif Termit: GPS coordinates or safety info anyone?
 

Hello.

Im driving through Niger from Mali to Chad in two weeks. I was hoping to pass by massif termit starting from Zinder and coming out in Nguimi. Does anyone have some coordinates for either part of the route? What about the security. Its 700km by pure desert to Agadez. Does the conflict in the north affect this isolated place and has the conflict escalated recently?

Tanout was attacked a couple of days ago, and the mayor taken hostage. Normally you pass by here on your way tom Termit. Have a look at m-n-j.blogspot.com. And thanks for the coordinates. What are you gona do in Chad, if I may ask?
