Hello,

I just thought i would share some notes regarding my latest trip to Laayoune to reclaim my broken bike.

1) Travel via 4 wheels attracts a higher likelyhood of traffic 'infractions' than 2 - I was fined 400dh x3 for 7km/h above the speed limit, overtaking on a bridge and stopping just after a checkpoint line.

2) Entering Maroc with a vehicle that the V5/carte gris is not in your name even with an authorisation letter causes major problems unless the letter is stamped by the goverment. I had a 2 hour wait.

On bike we haven't had any problem with that:thumbup1::scooter:

Two 400XR in Morocco

Oh yes I asked for a reciept, and I did get one every time.

We did the trip down to Dakhla and the tropic cancer just 3 month ago and we hadn´t any problems at all. Everybody was friendly and helpful.
