If you drive Mercedes diesel no problem. Or Toyota. All other makes will be difficult.

I think gvdaa mean Mercedes 190d or something similar. Those big vans are rare down there. Only very old models similar to 207d could be find.

What about Land Rovers? They always need parts.

All Mercedes parts will be readily available, in the worst case you would have to use public transport to go to Cassablanca or Nouackchott or any of the bigger cities, or even easier, pay someone to go get the part. Mercedes is king over there. I myself am driving my old VW transporter there in november, and I'm sure even VW parts won't be too difficult. Don't worry, it's when you break down, that you'll meet the nicest people.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
