from mali to mauritania - border crossing by car - where to get insurance
 

Soon we will be traveling from Mali to Mauritania and we would like to know where when can get a car insurance which covers Mauritania!?
Does any one knows as well where we can change money and if it is easy to change Fcfa's, and can we take as many as we want?

Hi Detnol, you'll have no problems changing Cfa's at whichever crossing you use. Just ask. Normal rules apply - i.e change a little first until you know the score. Insurance at the first opportunity - offices are common and there is an agent in most towns.
