Hi Guys, bit of an issue.

We are planning on leaving for Gambia after xmas but have just found out the registered keeper of the car is no longer coming along. Obvs theres not enough time to change it around now (xmas postal service etc) so does anyone see any problems we may incur?

My brother mentioned that at some borders they want to see the registered keeper of the car?

Any help ASAP would be AMAZING!

Thanks!

All you need is an official looking letter from the owner (in French as well as Arabic if you can manage) saying [your names, dates, ppt #, etc) have permission to drive it.

Official looking meaning an authoritative header and a stamp/embossment or two.

It's worked for me in the past.
