Libya or Algeria
We are planing a motorbike trip to Libya or Algeria 06/07 (it depends, which country is accessible). Does anyone know if independent travelling (without a guide) to these countries is possible and visas are accessible. Is it true that for Algieria and Libia carnet is not required ?

Unfortunately, not any more. Try Tunisia (a bit unsatisfying compared to the real thing), Maroc or Mauritania. >>and visas are accessible.
