Libya: New Visa Regulations
Hi
has anybody asked for the newest visa regulations in the UK lately? In France, Germany and Switzerland there is something going on like - no more passport translation (from 15th october) - visa at the border with invitation letter - even "soon" the invitation letter is not asked anymore The translation story is confirmed by the Libyan Embassies in Paris and Bern. Here no news on visa's matter except for those Italians born in Libya and turned out after the Great Revolution, that now will be allowed to came back as and only as tourist. Regards Budrinna

The Libyan embassy in London agrees that the translation requirement has been relaxed and is not strictly necessary, but they recommend you do have the translation to avoid problems once in Libya.
They said the position on invitations has not changed and they don't expect it to do so.
