Libya info wanted
 

Hello everybody, I am planning a trip to Libya and wanted some info.
1. Is it still obligatory to have a guide with in order to enter and turn around?
2. Carnet des Passage is must, or you can enter without it (also for Tunis)?
3. Mid September is too hot to travel around this area?
If somebody can help it would be grateful.

I have been there in Nov 2008 and later I only read about Libya issues but as I know :
1) it is still obligatory to have guide and police officer if the group is bigger then 4 or 5 persons ( i don't remember).
2) Carnet des Passage isn't obligatory unless you plan to go to Egypt fo instance.
3) it depends which part of Libya you plan to explore. For Akakus and other south parts I think it would be too hot to enjoy the trip.
