Libya Derj-Idri
 

I plane cross Libyan border 20.12.05 by motorbike and I still looking for anybody, who will go in this time from Ghadames, Derj to Idri (L1 from SaharaOverland).
I don’t like go by oneself this route.

We will be on the border on dec.22, (2x 4x4) but are taking a different route. Tripoli, Sebha, Al Katrun, Tumu, then on to Niger.

Anyone else around that time?

Thanks you, but my plane is Ghadames, Darj, Uweinat Whin , Idri, Ghat and on New Year I will be on Ubari lakes.
If will not look anybody in Darj for trace across Uweinat Whin I will go by normal road to Sebha.

I've just returned from Libya - didn't go to Idri - went to the Akakus + Mashtandush.
Would STRONGLY recommend not to travel by yourself offroad mate, wherever that is, including in Derbyshire.
