Italy to Alexandria on Grimaldi Lines for November

weekly service from Livorno (near Pisa/Florence) to Alexandria Egypt?

anyone want to organize this for November 2012 ? 2 bikers in so far...

its not RoRo (do they even take passengers?) so we fly and meet the container.
I dont have to drive 3000 km to Turkey from my home in Italy and deal with a start-up RoRo Ferry

Dear Jim,

I think the only problem with this option is the bureaucracy in Alexandria port.

Grimaldi Ro/Ro takes passengers but you can not disembark in Alexandria, at least not with your car.

I totally aggree with you: I've phoned to Grimaldi and the only option is to disembark in the Israel then go to Egypt.
But if you want go to Sudan, it"s not possible due to Israeli stamps!
