The problem with Egypt is taht it is to far of, it takes to much time to get their, is too expensive, and to complicated,
have a nice time

needs to be on the menu, I can tell you.

SEVEN DAYS to clear a motorcycle through Cairo International Airport! The only way is to look at it as being a big joke. I got the 'plates today, and I have been told it is "only 5 minutes more" before I can cruise the Egyptian pistes tomorrow.

Still sort of working out where to go, and recovering from losing my wallet in a Cairo taxi. You thought Salloum was bad? Ha, it aint nothing compared to this, but I'm still smiling, and looking forward to hitting the sands again.

By the way, the Syrian Embassy here in Cairo are now only issuing visas to EGyptian citizens, so you must now get the papers before leaving London. Grrr.
