hitchin bamako 2 dakhla(2 overlandnews!)
 

I dont have a bike but I'm going to be cheeky and ask advice from you bike/4wd ers. I'm travelling home to england from ghana in november. I've hitched southwards twice in 2006 and 08, but its a bit different now and going north - may 'overlandnews' may be able to help me as you did this recently.
2 questions -
1.how possible is it to hitch from nouadhibou to dakhkla or is there any transport you can pay to take you that way? I realise traffic flows more freely southwards...
2. hows public transport/the road from balmako to nioro-ayoun-onwards? which border crossing's more advisable right now in 2010 considering recent terrorism.kidnappings etc?
