Full ferries!
A word of warning! It appears that SNCM's ferries from Tunis to either Genoa or Marseilles are completely full of cars between the 20 August and 9 September.
Whilst I find it hard to believe that they have not space for ONE vehicle, in the whole of this almost 3 week period - that appears to be the case!! Sam. |
Actually it is believable - August is the European shutdown when North Africans go home with cars piled up with fridges and what not - that's why they are more expensive at that time. I would have thought leaving in early Sept may make a big difference

You could try www.linnelauro.it. They navigate from Tunis to Genoa as well, and are cheaper!
