Fuel Range Algeria - Niger
 

Riding a Yamaha XT 600 Z from Holland to Zimbabwe in October, I am planning to cross via Algeria - Niger. What is the maximum distance between (fuel)refills? Iam going the "easiest" way down from Tam to Agadez.

Then I know how much liters to take...

Hi Frank,

it depends, if you get petrol in In-Guezzam (if not, go to the police and ask for petrol, they are very friendly and will propably help you, otherwise you have to wait for a couple of days). The distance between Tam and In-Guezzam is around 400 km (if you are lucky, you find the new street 100 km before In-Guezzam, it is still not opened, but you can use with the bike). From In-Guezzam to Arlit it is another 220 km.
