Petrol maybe available in In Guezzam or Arlit but dont count on it. The other route I dont know. If you team up with other cars or 4WD´s then theyare usually prepared to take a couple of jerrycans for you.

Between Tam and Djanet you can sometimes get fuel at Ideles. We passed in early March and there was diesel available but no petrol.

Between Tam and Arlit, In Guezzam is an option but there are currently fuel shortages in southern Algeria and there was none when we went through. We were told we could get fuel from the police if we were desparate. Arlit should be a pretty safe bet. With the Uranium mine there it becoming a pretty big place and I would be surprised if you got stuck there.

Have a great trip
