fuel in mauretania
 

hi,
as we start for a biketrip to mauretania in mid november we're looking for informations if its possible to get fuel in choum, chinguetti and tichit - thanks for any help.

It should be available from 250l drums in the black market. Maybe irregular in Tichitt, but certainly available in Chinguetti and Choum. More expensive than in the cities, but enough to let you keep on going!

Hi,

I was last Feb in Ching and bought fuel from a hand operated pump at a fuel station off the main road into the town (coming from the west). Tichit had two fuel stations.
