Fuel cost Ceuta and W.Sahara

Does anyone have recent info on cost of diesel in these two locations?

In April this year cueta same price as spanish mainland, western sahara still dirt cheap, approx 1/2 price of morocco

Sure?

Ceuta used to be tax free, has that changed?

Sam.

Easter 2006 Ceuta was 15cents a litre cheaper than mainland Spain. W Sahara considerably cheaper still. If heading south, Laayoune was excellent value - don't go too long between fill ups, as there is always the possibility a station may have run out.

yes, the tax free thing has changed, there is little benifit in filling up in cueta as against morocco.

While we're talking diesel, anyone know the latest price in Atar, RIM?

I was just told that it's gone up a lot lately in Mori: "more than Mali" (tho this seems unlikely...). Last price I have is 240 oogs or about 50p a litre - wondering how much its worth filling right up in Western Sahara.

thanks

from memory that sounds about right, and definately worth filling up in WS

Last week BP garage at the bottom of the hill just heading out of Ceuta port was €0.74c per litre. Rest of Maroc was around 0.95/0.99 MAD / litre.

Check grades to buy - they sell higher grade and low grade depending on what your piston/bore clearance is like lol... I always bought higher grade (Gas350) and had no problems in my VW T4. I don't think that would have been the case with the other stuff.
