Flooding in the Layounne..
 

.. a few days ago. Big tailbacks the highway up to Tarfaya (blocked?) and inland towards Smara (Route M13) is not accessible.

....and it rained on us for 3 days on the Mezouga-Mhamid piste. Rained non-stop for 9 hours one night about 80 km from Mhamid.

The Azores anticyclone totally collaped and was replaced by a deep low which was stationary for about 4 to 5 days. Pretty unusual situation.

i was there on the nite of 26. Dec. the road was broken just 30-50KM before Laayoune. There was something like 20KM traffic. All the 2wd cars ,bus, truck waiting there.
We traversed oued without any problem. But i heard from another belgian fellow got stuck in the sand when he left the water. wat a pity.
